Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled

Operations Supervisor

with a background in

Chemical Engineering

to oversee and optimize biofuel production at our ICAD facility. The ideal candidate will have

5-7 years of hands-on experience

in biofuel production, particularly in

UCOME (Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester)

and

FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters)

, and possess strong leadership skills to manage a small to mid-size production team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of the biofuels production plant, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. Lead recipe development, testing, and optimization to enhance product yield and quality. Monitor adherence to

UCOME and FAME quality standards

and implement corrective actions when deviations occur. Maintain accurate production records and ensure traceability of raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with lab teams for sampling, testing, and quality control procedures. Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff, ensuring high performance and safety compliance. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime. Coordinate raw material intake, storage, and consumption in collaboration with the procurement and logistics teams. Implement and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Generate operational reports for senior management and suggest continuous improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Chemical Engineering

or a related field. Minimum

5-7 years of experience

in biofuel production operations. Strong technical knowledge of

biodiesel chemistry

, transesterification, and related processes. Proven experience in optimizing production recipes for quality and yield. In-depth understanding of

UCOME and FAME specifications and standards

. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with production software is a plus.
