Job Description

The Operations Officer supports the day-to-day processing of customer service requests related to Home Finance products. The role includes managing customer documents, entering accurate data, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring transactions are completed on time. The position does

not

include any approval or authorization authority.

Requirements



Process and update Direct Debit Authority (DDA) registrations, amendments, and cancellations. Handle all after-sales service requests (e.g. loan closures, deferments, mortgage releases). Prepare and register customer letters (e.g. No Objection Certificates, Clearance letters). Coordinate mortgage release documents and collateral handovers. Reconcile fees and transactions in internal systems and accounts. Maintain and update customer records (including on the AECB system). Communicate with internal teams (Customer Service, Finance, Risk, Legal, IT, etc.). Liaise with external parties like banks, insurance companies, and archiving vendors. Log and follow up on system issues with the IT department. Ensure compliance with internal policies and report any irregularities. Support testing of Home Finance systems and act as a backup during team absences. * Prepare monthly insurance reports for review.
