Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of an organization's operational departments, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and that projects align with company goals. They develop strategies to improve quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness, and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to maximize efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of various departments (e.g., production, logistics, maintenance).
• Oversee project management and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Analyze operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and staff.
• Liaise with senior management to report on operational performance and strategic planning.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is often preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in an operations management role.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of business functions and financial principles.
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
