Job Description

Education & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

PMP certification

or equivalent (preferred). Membership in relevant engineering bodies (e.g., Society of Engineers - UAE) is an advantage.

Experience:



Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP works

, with at least

5 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in managing MEP works in

high-rise building projects

. Must have

strong working experience in the UAE

, including knowledge (DEWA, ADDC, DM, DCD, etc.) and approval processes.

Technical Skills:



Full understanding of MEP systems:

HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Drainage, and Electrical. Proficient in reading and interpreting

MEP drawings and specifications

. Knowledge of

sustainable systems and energy-efficient solutions (LEED / Estidama is a plus).

Proficient in

AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), MS Project

, and other relevant software.

Responsibilities:



Manage and oversee the complete MEP scope

from start to handover.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Ensure

compliance with design, specifications, and authority regulations.

Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submittals.

Prepare

progress reports

, attend technical and coordination meetings.

Monitor site activities

to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Lead and manage the MEP team and subcontractors effectively.

Oversee procurement, planning, drawings, technical submittals, design queries resolution, progress management, site supervision

, and

coordination

with

engineering

,

architectural

, and

construction

teams.

Soft Skills:



Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
