Job Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and supervise all specialized services operations including:
Water tank cleaning and disinfection
Grease trap cleaning and waste disposal
Sump pit cleaning and drain line jetting
Kitchen duct and hood cleaning
Pest control services
Ensure all services comply with Municipality, Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations.
Develop and implement operational procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
Schedule manpower, equipment, and vehicles to meet daily operational requirements.
Monitor service quality and ensure client satisfaction at all times.
Manage emergency call-outs and urgent service requests.
Coordinate with clients for service planning, access approvals, and work permits.
Supervise supervisors, technicians, and drivers; conduct performance evaluations.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of equipment and machinery.
Manage chemical usage, storage, and compliance with MSDS standards.
Oversee waste handling and disposal in coordination with municipality-approved facilities.
Prepare and review:
Job completion reports
Method statements
Risk assessments
Service schedules and monthly operational reports
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality compliance.
Control operational costs, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency.
Support the sales and admin team with technical inputs, quotations, and service feasibility.
Ensure all staff are trained and certified as per local authority requirements.
Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and client approvals.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
5-10 years of experience in environmental services or specialized cleaning operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of:
o Water tank hygiene and disinfection standards
o Grease trap operations and waste management
o Drain line jetting and vacuum tanker operations
o Kitchen duct fire safety standards
o Pest control regulations and methods
Thorough understanding of Municipality regulations and HSE compliance.
Experience in managing large operational teams and multiple service sites.
Ability to prepare method statements, risk assessments, and SOPs.
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting systems.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred)
Municipality-approved Pest Control Supervisor/Manager certification
HSE / IOSH / NEBOSH certification
Confined Space Entry certification
Water Tank Cleaning & Disinfection certification
First Aid & Fire Safety training
