Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Operations Manager

to oversee the company's operational, regulatory, and compliance functions. The role requires strong expertise in facilities management, branch openings, regulatory approvals, and coordination with external stakeholders such as malls, contractors, and government bodies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of UAE company setup procedures, strong technical understanding of civil and MEP works, and proven leadership in managing teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Management & Compliance



Manage and maintain all operational documents of the company. Handle trade licenses, renewals, and regulatory compliance with government bodies. Act as the focal point for coordination with malls, landlords, contractors, partners, and other stakeholders. Review and manage contracts, lease agreements, and compliance documents. Maintain and update periodic submissions required by malls, lessors, and regulatory authorities.

Branch Openings & Fit-outs



Prepare and oversee all pre-mobilization and pre-opening documentation for new branches. Manage branch fit-outs, retail delivery, and handovers with contractors and landlords. Coordinate with all parties during new branch openings, from lease proposals to final handover.

Facilities & Asset Management



Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) across all locations, including firefighting, housekeeping, and pest control. Supervise the Operations Assistant in facilities management, maintenance, cleaning, and operational support. Oversee company cars, ensuring regular operational and maintenance requirements. Manage company fixed assets and local purchases (transitioning later to Purchasing Manager). Serve as the primary emergency contact for all branches, handling urgent security and safety concerns.

People & Vendor Management



Oversee induction, performance evaluation, and leave approvals for the operations assistant and maintenance team. Source and manage company accommodations, including setup, renewals, and documentation. Coordinate with the finance department for supplier payments and operational expenditure approvals.

Government & Regulatory Coordination



Handle approval processes with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other government authorities. Maintain updated knowledge of commercial insurance policies, procedures, and compliance. Ensure compliance with UAE mainland and free zone company setup requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in operations or facilities management within the UAE. Strong technical knowledge of civil works and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing). In-depth knowledge of UAE government regulations, free zone, and mainland company setup requirements. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and vendor management skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Valid UAE driver's license and access to a vehicle.
