Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Food and Beverage Catering Operations Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in catering operations within the UAE, demonstrating a strong understanding of local market trends, food service standards, and customer preferences. This role is essential in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer experiences, and managing a diverse range of catering events.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Supervise and manage all catering operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with local health regulations.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor catering staff to ensure high levels of performance.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to promote employee engagement and retention.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Event Management:
Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring all client specifications and requirements are met.
Collaborate with clients to develop customized catering menus, coordinating with culinary teams for optimal execution.
Manage logistics, including setup, service, and breakdown for events of various scales.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and improve future services.
Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on all project details.
Financial Management:
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the catering operations, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective strategies while maintaining high quality standards.
Prepare regular financial reports and performance analyses for management review.
Marketing and Business Development:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote catering services and identify new business opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to remain competitive in the market.
Participate in networking events, trade shows, and local community activities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hospitality administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in food and beverage catering operations, preferably in the UAE.
Strong understanding of food service operations and industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
