This is not simply our job, it\'s our passion.About The RoleThe Operations Manager Dolphin Bay is responsible for the overall admissions activities in Dolphin Bay within Aquaventure Waterpark. Person in this role will oversee bookings and cashiering compliance as well as guest services function across the facility. Monitoring the sales transactions, maximizing the on-going promotions and special group offers in liaison with Sales and Marketing teams, all while ensuring highest level of guest experience is created by Dolphin Bay team members is the biggest part of the role.In this role you will be responsible for the development and performance of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and a large team of junior receptionists. Successfully implementing colleague recognition best practices as well as handling disciplinary actions are crucial part of the role. You will also play an active role in understanding and communicating marine mammal education, conservation and research efforts.Operations Manager works closely with Director of Admissions and various senior stakeholders throughout the resort to better understand and effectively manage team-based goals and philosophies while maximizing revenues and maintaining high levels of guest quality and satisfaction.About YouTo be successful in this role, a minimum of three years of experience managing large revenue generating, high quality guest service-oriented operation is a must. Previous experience with daily resort reception operations, reservation systems, call center operation, and guest service activities preferred. College degree or equivalent experience in management, communications, or hospitality is ideal. Additionally this role requires working outdoors in hot and humid conditions.You should be able to demonstrate continuous drive towards operations optimization and a history of successfully designed and implemented efficiencies. You will identify gaps in performance and work on your own and your team member\'s development.
