We are looking for a leading trading company specializing in high-quality

building materials

in Qatar. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic

Operations Manager

to oversee and optimize our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in

building materials trading

, in-depth knowledge of the

local construction and materials market

, and proven experience in

sales and operational management

within Qatar.

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability. The candidate must have a

deep understanding of construction materials

(e.g., cement, steel, wood, plumbing, electrical supplies, insulation materials, etc.) and be well-versed in

market pricing, logistics, supplier negotiation

, and

inventory control

.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations including

inventory management, logistics, procurement

, and warehouse control. Drive the

sales strategy

and ensure revenue targets are met through team leadership and direct client engagement. Manage relationships with

suppliers, contractors, and major clients

across Qatar's construction industry. Monitor

stock levels and material movement

, and ensure timely delivery to project sites and clients. Conduct regular

market analysis

to keep pricing competitive and optimize product portfolio based on demand. Lead and mentor the sales and operations team to achieve performance KPIs. Ensure all operational activities comply with

local regulations

,

company policies

, and

HSE standards

. Coordinate with finance and senior management for budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting. Streamline processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Handle

customer complaints

, resolve issues effectively, and maintain a high level of service quality.

Requirements:

Minimum

8+ years of experience

in

operations management

within the

building materials trading

industry. Strong

sales and client management experience

in

Qatar

, with a proven track record of achieving targets. In-depth knowledge of a wide range of

building materials

and their usage in commercial and residential construction. Excellent negotiation skills with

local and international suppliers

. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills. Excellent communication in English;

Arabic

is a plus. Proficient in

ERP systems

, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be

currently available in Qatar

with a

valid QID

and

transferable visa/NOC

. Immediate availability is required.
