Key responsibilities

Shipment coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments.

Stakeholder liaison: Communicate and collaborate with suppliers, carriers, customs officials, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import/export requirements.

Process optimization: Monitor and analyze logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and customer information; prepare and submit timely reports.

Customer support: Address customer inquiries and concerns related to shipping and logistics.

Required skills and qualifications

Educational background: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is often required.

Experience: Proven experience in shipping or logistics operations.

Organizational skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple shipments and tasks.

Technical proficiency: Knowledge of logistics and supply chain software is often necessary.

Communication skills: Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are essential for effective internal and external communication.
