Job Description

Stemfield is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate Operations Coordinator to ensure the seamless execution of our K-12 innovation hub and 360 learning programs. This pivotal role bridges the gap between administrative operations and educational delivery, requiring a unique blend of project management skills and hands-on experience as a STEM/STEAM trainer. The ideal candidate will optimize our processes, manage resources, and support our mission to inspire the next generation of innovators. Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Implementation:

Coordinate the daily activities and operations of the innovation hub programs within partner schools, ensuring alignment with program goals and schedules.

Logistics and Resource Management:

Oversee inventory and procurement of all STEM/STEAM equipment, tools (robotics kits, 3D printers, etc.), and supplies. Ensure all tools and devices are in proper working condition and manage their allocation and return.

Curriculum Support & Training:

Leverage your experience as a STEM trainer to support educators and staff with program content, potentially assisting with training sessions on new technologies or teaching methods.

School and Stakeholder Liaison:

Serve as a primary point of contact for school administrations and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and strong relationships to ensure smooth program execution.

Event Coordination:

Plan, organize, and execute workshops, competitions, and student engagement events, managing all related logistics and documentation.

Data and Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and report on program data and KPIs to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and inform internal and external stakeholders (e.g., donors, school management).

Process Improvement:

Identify operational inefficiencies and collaborate with management to develop and implement streamlined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all activities and the facility comply with relevant safety standards, educational regulations, and company policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in operations coordination, program management, or project management, preferably within the education or non-profit sector.

Proven experience as a STEM/STEAM Trainer

or in a similar hands-on educational role is required. Familiarity with hands-on learning environments, such as makerspaces, robotics labs, or innovation centers.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Education, or a related STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data tracking and reporting. Familiarity with basic robotics kits (LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) or other educational technologies is highly advantageous.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to manage diverse stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-oriented, and reliable mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
