Job Details

• Lead O&M operations for rooftop and utility-scale solar power plants, ensuring maximum availability and performance ratio
• Troubleshoot, implement preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safe plant operations
• Develop and standardize O&M processes, protocols, and reporting systems
• Monitor plant KPIs including generation output, outages, and performance ratios, taking corrective action where needed
• Lead and manage engineers, site managers, and technicians, fostering safety and continuous improvement culture
• Analyze operational data, implement predictive maintenance practices, and deploy digital diagnostic tools to optimize production
• Manage contracts with O&M service providers, equipment suppliers, and vendors, including negotiations and warranty compliance
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project sites
• Prepare and submit detailed performance reports, maintenance updates, and client invoices
• Track dust levels, cleaning cycles, and generation variances to ensure energy output is maximized

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering; MBA or M.Tech preferred
• 8-12 years of solar or renewable energy industry experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing O&M for multiple rooftop solar installations
• Expertise in PV technology, inverters, grid integration, and predictive maintenance tools
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and DEWA/DM standards in the UAE
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong communication abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Add-ons: DEWA Solar Engineer Certificate, DM Engineer Certificate, Society of Engineers registration
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
