Job Responsibilities - Dispatch & Delivery Coordinator

1. Dispatch & Delivery Coordination

Manage daily order dispatching and assign deliveries efficiently Plan optimal routes for drivers and self-deliveries Track delivery status and handle delays or issues immediately Handle basic documentation, signatures, and order confirmations

2. Deliveries & Pickups

Personally handle urgent or overflow deliveries and pickups when necessary Assist during peak hours, weekends, and high-volume days Represent the company professionally during client interactions

3. Client Communication

Update clients on delivery status and delays Manage special instructions from clients Assist in basic customer support tasks, when required

4. Team & Operational Support

Guide drivers on daily duties, safety, and performance expectations Support onboarding and basic training for new drivers Assist with day-to-day operations and vehicle coordination

5. Reporting & System Management

Use the delivery management system (Shipox or similar) to manage orders Maintain simple operational records (deliveries, returns, fuel, delays) Prepare daily and weekly operational reports

6. General Responsibilities

Ensure company vehicles are maintained, cleaned, and fueled Maintain discipline, punctuality, and smooth operational flow Recommend improvements to routes, workflows, and overall efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in logistics, courier, or delivery (1-3 years preferred) Must be able to drive and handle deliveries Strong communication and basic computer skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure Strong knowledge of UAE locations and road networks

Role Requirements

Flexible working hours on busy days Willing to work both as a supervisor and delivery staff when required Physically fit for normal delivery activities
