Opening for Head of Music - Bahrain
A British International school in Bahrain is seeking a Head of VMT (peripatetic music tutor) for September 2022. The appointee will have a degree in music, PGD or Master of music and Qualified Teacher Status and be an outstanding peripatetic music teacher, ideally a violin specialist. The successful candidate would lead a team of peripatetic, coordinate the timetabling of peripatetic music lessons, and ideally a Violin specialist able to tutor students from beginner to Grade 8/Diploma level. Tutoring of the piano and accompaniment of students will also be required. The ability to teach viola and cello would be highly desirable, and previous experience of leading whole class instrumental and larger ensembles would be an advantage.Remuneration:
