What You'll be doing:
Monitor the Tram Operations at signalized junctions
Undertake site visits, monitor, investigate, propose mitigation measures, and suggest quick wins to the signalized junctions based on site observations and available data.
Perform data collection exercises such as traffic counts, travel time, queue data, etc. during peak and/or off-peak hours of weekdays.
On-street review of Tram junctions and pedestrian operation including daily monitoring and site visits to ensure effective operations.
Ongoing adjustment to plans upon approval from the client to maximize efficiency
Assisting the client's Engineer in making specific plans for special events (e.g. EID, Ramadan, etc.).
Monitoring and reporting of major site activities together with client and Tram maintenance teams on the rectification the faults and site status feedback to the team.
Monitoring the commissioning of changes to the signalized intersections and pedestrian crossings.
Preparation of monthly progress reports
Coordination and follow-up with the team, Tram Operations, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and submit a yearly Key Performance Indicators report.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics or Communications Engineering with 5 years of experience, 3 of which are in a similar role.
Commitment to safe work practices
Experience in UTC/SCOOT and ITS systems is an advantage.
Have experience in using Microsoft Windows-based software applications and word processors.
Demonstrated leadership experience, especially with junior staff.
