Onsite AIX and System Administration: - Roles and Responsibilities: Administration of LPAR and LDOM virtualized infrastructure and underline hardware.

• Management and Administration of Solaris infrastructure,
• Administration of AIX infrastructure,
• Administration of IBM Power Series and worked on SUN T series,
• Management and administration of AIX, Solaris and Linux Operating systems including Deployment and troubleshooting,
• Administration and Management of Cluster Systems/ Active Active setup.
• Analyze and verify the requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility for infrastructure and projects requirement as per the standards.
• Install, configure, monitor and maintain server hardware, operating systems, virtual infrastructure and cluster systems
• Support for Analyzing, diagnoses, and resolves problems associated with server hardware, operating systems,
• Coordinates with vendor software or hardware support to resolve system problems.
• Designs, implements, and perform OS hardening
• Assist in server hardware upgrades, infrastructure software, and operating systems.
• Transitioning new technical projects and ensuring smooth go-live
• Performing technical research on optimal designing for effective utilization of resources, process improvements, and technical enhancements including optimization, consolidations, and automation.
• Working as a team member with different project teams, technical teams and IT architecture team to formulate and document project architectural requirements.
• Analyze project requirements to develop technical architecture of the solution being deployed
• Coordinate with IT team to work with technology vendors for projects
• Work with IT team to upgrade hardware and software components as required.
• Ensure that each project that is implemented has documented designs on an agreed standard

Key Responsibilities.

• Expert in Storage, Unix, Linux, and Backup.
• Knowledge on S/4H conversion and S/4 HANA on-premises implementations on Power servers with HANA replication.
• Experience on Power Servers migration from Power 7 to Power 8
• End to end built of SUSE on Power Servers for Hana compliance.
• Setting up a GIT repository on-prem.
• Knowledge on Building and planning of Kubernetes cluster on-prem for Microservices
• Knowledge on Infrastructure as code using ansible.
• Successful DR implementation and conducting DR drills on regular intervals.
• Managed TSM I Migration from version 7 to version 8
