Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Online Buyer / Purchase Specialist

to manage vehicle purchases through major auction platforms such as

Copart, IAAI, and similar portals

. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, a good understanding of vehicle condition grading, and at least

2 years of experience

in online car purchasing.

Handle end-to-end purchasing of vehicles through online auction sites like

Copart

IAAI

,

Manheim

, etc. Analyze auction listings, vehicle condition reports, and bid strategically to secure the best deals. Negotiate pricing and communicate with sellers and agents to ensure favorable terms. Maintain updated records of all purchases, costs, and logistics for inbound shipments. Coordinate with logistics, documentation, and customs teams to ensure smooth import or domestic transfer. Stay updated on market trends, vehicle prices, and auction schedules to optimize buying decisions. Communicate with sales and inventory teams to align purchases with business needs and client demand.

Requirements:

Minimum

2+ years of hands-on experience

in purchasing vehicles from online auctions such as Copart, IAAI, or similar. Strong knowledge of car brands, models, market value, and auction processes. Excellent

negotiation and communication skills

. Ability to assess vehicle condition reports and make informed buying decisions. Familiarity with documentation and compliance for vehicle import/export is a plus. Organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with salvage, rental, or wholesale vehicle sourcing. Basic understanding of customs regulations and shipping procedures (if applicable). Multilingual abilities (optional but a plus).
