Purpose of the Job To be part of the ERTMS OBU Maintenance team performing all technical & administrative activities under SAR OBU Maintenance Support contract in Saudi Arabian Railway workshop (Nariyah)

Mission

Responsibilities the mission consists of supporting the current ERTMS OBU maintenance team with the following: - Understand the OBU system architecture, functional principles, and requirements. Understand the main principle of ERTMS (European Rail Trafic Management System) - Support the customer in the maintenance activities of Locomotives Onboard Signalling, and represent Alstom field team at workshop. - Performing the routine Preventive Maintenance for the Onboard Signaling equipment as per maintenance plan, quality standards, and procedures. - Performing corrective maintenance activities, replacement of faulty parts, radar calibration, extracting logs, retrofit. - Perform troubleshooting and fault findings activities. - Preparation of Intervention reports, recording of information, and archiving all related maintenance documents and records. - Ensuring the Safety, Environmental, and Health requirements when working in Railway Depot and track crossing. - Working in rotating roster (Day shift/Night shift) and possibly On-Call duty. - Maintain Alstom Quality standards in working process, EHS, Ethics & Compliance, use of tools, appearance and documentations.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements Electrical or Electronics or Communication Diploma holder. Languages: English & Arabic.

Desired Knowledge / Experience 1-3 years working experience in railway signalling, preferably ERTMS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Logical and organized Ability to achieve outcomes with minimal direct supervision Be courageous by being accountable, proactive, and innovative Show care by listening carefully, seeking feedback and being community minded Ability to solve problems by being collaborative, creative and analytical Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Job Location Nariyah (Saudi Arabian Railway Depot/Workshop), Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. Candidate must have no problem relocation to Nariyah/Jubail or ideally his hometown is Eastern Provence.
