Responsible for geotechnical site investigations and operation and maintenance of geotechnical equipment which includes various Down the hole - Seabed, Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) - sampling and other Geotechnical required systems such as Vane and seabed CPT-sampling tools to acquire geotechnical data offshore. Supervision of drill floor operations on specialised geotechnical drill ships.

Job responsibilities:

Able to know if CPT data and sampler recovery are of good quality.

Able to repair and maintain system in case of malfunction.

Knowledge of the quality of CPT data and sampler recovery.

Responsible for the preparation, set-up, testing and maintenance of CPT tools and equipment used to acquire geotechnical data. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage stock and request equipment necessary.

Responsible for the acquisition of high-quality geotechnical data.

Assist with the collation of relevant paperwork and reports.

Responsible for the adherence to safety requirements according to the company\xe2\x80\x99s HSE policies and local health, safety and environmental regulations.

You bring (qualifications & experience)

Relevant Diploma in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical or IT.

Experience offshore using CPT equipment such as APB Wison, Geomil Orca for down the hole system. APB Roson, Geomil Mantas for the Seabed system.

Electro-mechnical/Electrical knowledge and experience.

Experience using IT systems and software.
