Prepare list of construction aids (load register) required for the job. Finalize the relevant AFC drawings with PEM after receiving comments from various department
Prepare a list identifying the marine spread requirement for the project and finalize with VPOO/OOD.
Coordinate with survey section and advise survey requirements for the project.
Prepare the scope of work for pipe coating activity and follow-up closely the pipe-coating progress with the PMT fabrication engineer.
Review Engineering documents / drawings and analyses from construct-ability point of view. Consolidate relevant comments from LME / OOM /NBM and pass it to PEM.
Follow-up with PEM on timely submission of deliverables and with client for review and approval.

Coordinate with subcontracts section for technical & un-priced commercial evaluation and clarifications.
Issue Purchase Requisition for offshore project material in coordination with SPM in PMT
Initiate all the correspondences (letters / faxes) with the client related to offshore scope or work.
Initiate the offshore project risk and opportunities in coordination with planning and cost manager,
Coordinate with all departments within the company for all offshore-related scope of the project.
Function as a focal point for all communication and functions pertaining to the offshore scope of the project within the company.
Attend / chair the meetings initiated by LME and attended by OOD/OCD/PEM/NBM (and on case by case bases by AVP-OCS / VPOO) to discuss the philosophy for preparation of specific installation procedure
Review technical procedures, anchor patterns, installation drawings. Follow-up with LME/OOD/NBM and ensure timely submission to client.
Coordinate with the client representative for all aspects of the offshore work, from start of project until completion.
Provide input for weekly and monthly report and attend meetings with client whenever required.
Analyze any major change in offshore execution plan that may occur during the execution of the project.
Liaise with third party agency on offshore execution related issues.
Liaise with marine warranty surveyors on all issues related to marine / construction aspects of the work
Attend weekly meetings with AVP-OCS / OCD / VPOO to discuss progress and areas of concern.
Conduct regular meetings with the Project Director and PMT and keep the project management team updated on all aspects of offshore works.
Ensure implementation of the project safety plan and the company HSEMS.
Ensure and enhance quality of the work.
Capture / issue lessons learnt and good practices at any stage during the execution of the project.
Provide input to the exception report prepared by planning section, related to offshore scope.
Participate in project quality audits and follow-up for closeout of inadequacies as determined by the audit findings.
Initiate the variation orders / claims related to offshore work.
Review subcontractor's invoices, provide all clarification as may be required by finance department for processing the invoices, and certify these invoices prior to its approval by PD.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Preferably in Mechanical, Civil or Naval.
10 years' experience with proven offshore operations experience.
Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

Superior knowledge of offshore operations, personnel & equipment.
