Icon Auto Garage is looking for an experienced and passionate
Off-Road Marshal
to lead convoys during
off-road drives and adventure events
across the UAE deserts.
The ideal candidate has a
strong background in sand and dune driving
, understands
desert safety protocols
, and enjoys helping others experience off-roading safely and confidently.
You'll work closely with our brand and events team to organize and lead
weekend drives, customer experience days, and adventure trips
-- representing the spirit of the off-road community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate
off-road convoys
through various desert terrains (sand, dunes, sabkha, etc.).
Conduct
briefing sessions
before each drive (safety, convoy rules, and radio communication).
Monitor vehicle spacing, support stuck vehicles, and ensure participant safety throughout.
Assist with
event planning
, GPS route setup, and check points.
Guide and train new off-road drivers on proper techniques and desert etiquette.
Report drive feedback, route difficulty, and improvement points to the management team.
Requirements
Minimum
3 years of off-road driving experience
in UAE deserts.
Deep knowledge of
sand driving techniques, recovery procedures, and safety tools
.
Confident with using
walkie-talkies, GPS navigation, and recovery gear
.
Team player
with strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid
UAE driving license
and
own 4x4 vehicle
preferred.
Available for
weekend events
and occasional weekday drives.
Preferred Skills
Basic mechanical or recovery knowledge (winch, tire deflation, straps, etc.)
Familiarity with popular UAE desert areas (Lahbab, Sweihan, Liwa, etc.)
First aid or desert safety training (advantage)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
