Position Summary

. We are looking for an

Off-Page / PR Growth Specialist

to lead PR-driven growth initiatives that strengthen our authority, visibility, and credibility across external channels.



This role sits within the

Product-Led Growth function

and reports directly to the Product-Led Growth Director. The focus is strongly weighted toward

PR, earned media, market perception, audience engagement, and authority building

, with SEO acting as the framework through which impact is measured.



The ideal candidate brings a

strong PR / communications mindset

, understands how narratives spread across digital ecosystems, and can translate perception, engagement, and earned visibility into sustainable organic growth.


Key Responsibilities

PR-Led Off-Page Growth (Primary Focus)




Own and execute PR-led off-page growth initiatives that strengthen brand authority and organic visibility


Build and maintain relationships with journalists, publishers, editors, bloggers, and authoritative platforms

Lead outreach efforts to secure earned media coverage, authoritative mentions, and citations

Identify and convert unlinked brand mentions into trust and authority signals
Support ethical citation and reference opportunities on platforms such as

Wikipedia

, strictly following editorial standards, and knows in depth how to power the entity on the web.

Market Perception & Brand Authority




Monitor and analyse

market perception

, brand sentiment, and narrative positioning across digital channels Conduct

social listening

and external signal monitoring to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging conversations
Identify how audiences talk about the brand, products, and categories -- and translate insights into PR and growth opportunities

Proactively shape narratives that reinforce trust, expertise, and authority in priority markets

Audience Engagement & Community Presence




Engage authentically with high-signal communities (e.g. Reddit, forums, industry platforms) to build credibility and organic advocacy


Identify opportunities for audience engagement that naturally lead to brand mentions and citations

Support community-driven references and discussions without promotional or spammy behaviour

SEO Alignment & Growth Measurement




Translate PR, engagement, and perception efforts into measurable SEO and growth outcomes


Collaborate with Content and Technical SEO teams to align external authority signals with priority pages and themes

Monitor authority growth, external signal quality, competitive positioning, and brand mentions using SEO and analytics tools

Support backlink audits and quality assessments in partnership with SEO stakeholders
Connect PR activities to

measurable growth signals

(authority, visibility, demand capture, engagement) Evaluate which external signals (mentions, narratives, communities, publishers) drive

meaningful organic impact

Insight-Led PR & Opportunity Identification




Analyse

market, audience, and search demand signals

to identify PR-worthy narratives, data points, and angles Identify

unique data, trends, and insights

that can be transformed into earned media, citations, and authority signals Work with Product, Data, and Growth teams to surface

non-obvious insights

(market shifts, user behaviour, demand patterns) that resonate with media and communities Assess which stories, insights, or narratives are most likely to earn

credible coverage, references, and organic amplification


Continuously test, learn, and refine PR angles based on performance, engagement, and downstream organic impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration




Work closely with Content, Brand, PR, Product, and Data teams to develop

PR-worthy, insight-led assets

(reports, market insights, data stories)
Partner with the Product-Led Growth team to align off-page initiatives with broader growth strategy and business priorities

Knows in depth all things data, to showcase it in the PR campaigns, working closely with the data team to prepare the data briefs for data rich content messaging.

The Person

Required Skills & Experience




3+ years of experience in PR, digital PR, communications, earned media, or authority-building roles

Strong understanding of

market perception, audience sentiment, and brand narrative management


Proven experience securing earned media, authoritative mentions, or citations through relationships and pitching

Experience with social listening, audience insight gathering, or reputation monitoring

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working understanding of SEO principles and how off-page signals influence organic growth

Analytical mindset with the ability to connect perception and engagement signals to performance outcomes

Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable owning initiatives end-to-end
Strong

analytical and problem-solving mindset

, able to turn data and signals into PR opportunities Experience working with

data, insights, or research

to support earned media or authority-building initiatives
Comfortable collaborating with analysts, product managers, or growth teams to extract meaningful narratives

Experience in marketplaces, classifieds, or high-traffic consumer platforms


Exposure to data-led PR or insight-driven storytelling

Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, similar)
Exposure to AI-assisted research, outreach, or monitoring workflows
