MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To assist in accounting of revenue and reconciliation and settlement of accounts for the relevant revenue segments by communicating and liaising with the customers and other related partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures the revenue booking is appropriate, accurate and complete in line with the contracts signed by the airline.
Process revenue by raising relevant billing and advise the customers on the dues, ensuring that the invoices are raised & timely intimated.
Monitors, reviews and reconciles the related revenue accounts and ledgers to ensure that relevant issues are highlighted in a timely manner to the line manager.
Liaises and communicates with the contractual parties on dues & any issues on the billing in a effective and timely manner.
Prepares periodic reports and gathers information for the management, related to revenue segments highlighting the trends and variances, along with comparative information where necessary.
Assists in the process of review and identification of any accounting, reporting and business issues related to the revenue segment.
Assists the team lead for preparation of schedules and reports for audit from relevant authorities in line with the organization requirements.
Maintains records of all contracts and billing for the revenue stream, in line with the audit and management reporting requirements. Highlights the expiry and renewal of contracts from the perspective of record keeping & entity obligations.
Reviews any exceptional approvals for revenue entries in the revenue streams for adequacy of record keeping and documentation.
Assists the team lead in generation of periodic reports and performance highlights for the revenue stream.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Commerce, Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
Fluent in English & Arabic/Russian
Minimum of 3 years' experience in airline industry, low-cost carrier experience added advantage.
Oracle ERP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power BI and other reporting tools
Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
