The

Officer - AVSEC Quality Control

is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and ensuring compliance with airport security policies and procedures. The role develops corrective measures to address non-compliance in alignment with ADAC regulatory standards. The officer supports audits, inspections, compliance monitoring, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance aviation security operations and maintain adherence to international and national requirements.

Responsibilities

Managerial / Strategic Planning

Maintain awareness of the strategic planning process. Maintain knowledge of new and existing KPI requirements.

Corporate Performance Management

Achieve departmental/sectional goals and objectives.

Functional

Undertake compliance monitoring activities against company, national, and international aviation security requirements. Identify reasons for compliance deficiencies and design appropriate solutions. Ensure adherence to company management systems, policies, SOPs, and processes. Audit and inspect aviation security operations against regulatory standards. Produce post-audit and inspection reports. Develop rectification programs with clear objectives. Develop and implement mentoring programs to improve aviation security performance. Assist in responding to and investigating aviation security incidents and breaches. Provide professional customer service and maintain a high standard of conduct. Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Organisational / Governance

Maintain awareness and adherence to departmental/sectional policies and procedures. Participate in periodic audits of policies and procedures.

Management Reporting

Support development of periodic reports. Highlight quality or non-compliance issues during reporting.

Change Management

Support execution of change management activities within the department/section.

Technology Management

Support in identifying technology-related needs to drive automation in work processes.

Professional Development

Proactively identify opportunities for professional development to enhance technical skills. Participate in performance appraisals and apply feedback for growth.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Airport Management or a related field

Experience

* 0-2 years of experience in AVSEC Quality Control
