Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The office assistant provides both clerical and administrative support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Ensure that the office, pantry, and hallways are cleaned and well maintained.
  • Maintain and re-stock office supplies as needed.
  • Monitor and use office equipment and materials (computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, physical files, etc.)
  • Ensure that garbage bins are emptied and cleaned at all times.
  • Report any loss, theft, damage or strange behavior / incidents to team leader or supervisor.
  • Report maintenance requirement to team leader or supervisor.
  • Perform any other reasonable task requested by your supervisor or client.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
  • Has thorough knowledge of kitchen appliances and components.
  • Able to conduct checks, interpret results and propose corrective actions to Team Leader.
  • Positive and proactive attitude that brings innovative ideas for improvement of the operations (energy, risk, and safety).
  • Ability to handle and face customers /end-users.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years in GCC.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
