Duties of a Receptionist may include:
Greeting and welcoming guests and providing them with a positive first impression of the organization o
Directing guests and answering their questions o
Notifying other workers of visitor arrival o
Maintaining security and telecommunications systems o
Keeping office secure by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges o
Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations on keeping a safe and clean office o
Answering the telephone; taking and relaying messages; providing information to callers
Providing administrative and clerical support o
Preparing letters and documents o
Receiving and sorting mail and packages o
Scheduling appointments and maintaining appointment calendar o
Coordinating meetings and organizing catering and room bookings o
Scheduling travel o
Ordering office supplies
