Odoo Techno-Functional Pre-Sales Consultant (4-6 Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Odoo Techno-Functional Pre-Sales Consultant

with

4-6 years of hands-on Odoo experience

to support pre-sales engagements and influence solution design across multiple business domains.

In this role, you will act as a

key bridge between business stakeholders, pre-sales, and technical delivery teams

, translating business needs into scalable and secure Odoo ERP solutions. You will play a critical role in

solution architecture, technical feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and risk mitigation

, while ensuring alignment with client expectations and delivery best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Solution Design

Drive and influence

technical and functional solution design

during pre-sales and proposal stages for Odoo ERP implementations. Analyze client business requirements and propose

optimized, scalable, and future-ready Odoo solutions

. Identify potential technical risks early and propose

remedial actions and alternative approaches

. Support sales teams with

technical presentations, demos, estimations, and solution documentation

.
Odoo Development & Technical Leadership

Lead and contribute to

Odoo full-stack development

, including custom module development, enhancements, and report customization (QWeb). Oversee

Odoo ERP customizations, code migration, data migration, integrations, and report/output document development

. Ensure high standards for

code quality, performance tuning, security, and system stability

. Conduct

code reviews, testing, UAT support, automation testing, and unit testing

.
Project & Delivery Support

Perform

requirement analysis, effort estimation, task planning, and timeline forecasting

for development activities. Provide detailed

progress tracking and technical updates

to the Project Manager. Ensure timely delivery of assigned milestones while maintaining quality and compliance. Support ERP system health to ensure it

runs reliably and supports business operations smoothly

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Act as a

translator between functional teams and technical developers

, ensuring feasibility and clarity on both sides. Provide

technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer

to junior team members. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated ERP solutions.
Candidate RequirementsEducation

Bachelor's / Master's / Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Core Odoo & Technical Skills

Strong understanding of

Odoo MVC architecture

. Solid experience with

Odoo core modules

:
Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, Operations, QWeb Reporting.

Hands-on experience with

Odoo.sh

and Odoo deployment/installation. Strong

Python programming

skills. Experience with

PostgreSQL database

, including

performance tuning and optimization

. Proven experience in

profiling, caching mechanisms, and system optimization

. Strong knowledge of

version control systems (Git)

and related tools such as

GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Atlassian

.
Functional Knowledge

Strong functional understanding of business processes including:

SCM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, CRM, eCommerce

.

Ability to translate business requirements into

technical and functional Odoo solutions

.
Integration & Web Technologies

Experience integrating Odoo with

third-party systems using REST APIs and XML-RPC

. Working knowledge of

JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, jQuery

. Familiarity with

JSON APIs

. UI/UX awareness for ERP usability and user experience improvements.
Methodologies & Soft Skills

Experience working with both

Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

. Excellent

communication, presentation, and documentation skills

. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage resources effectively.
Nice to Have

Experience supporting

complex enterprise ERP implementations

. Exposure to

multi-company, multi-currency, or multi-industry Odoo deployments

. Pre-sales experience involving

client demos, proposals, and RFP responses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
