DHL Global Forwarding Abu Dhabi has an opening for an Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist (OCC), where you will support, develop, and administer plans and processes as part of the OFR pricing & RFQ/tender management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies. In this Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist (OCC) position

• You will support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy.
• You will assist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner.
• You will execute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations.
• You will support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs and prepare and submit relevant documents for tenders.
• You will develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries.
• You will build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines and prepare carrier performance reports and reviews.
• You will identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices and negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting desired service specifications and transit time targets.
• You will prepare, control, and distribute all required Import documents to counterparts such as carrier, consignee, supplier, etc. complying with regulations and internal procedures and verify responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents.
• You will understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development and may provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions.
• You will identify and resolve recurring issues and suggest modifications to OFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
• You will build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 interests and concerns and address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/qualification.
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience or more in Freight Forwarding.
