Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals achieve their maximum level of independence and function in their daily lives. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote optimal physical and mental well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve client's functional abilities, including activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate client care and achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence. Document client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and professional standards. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university Valid DHA license as Occupational Therapist. Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a clinic or school set up preferred. Previous experience in working with individuals of determination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional integrity.
