***********Launching in the UAE - December 2022********* About Complete Connect Complete Connect is an Australian organisation that provides disability service programs on behalf of the Australian government that aims to improve the lives of people with disability in Australia. We are currently in the final stages of setting up branches and centres to offer our specialised programs for UAE citizens and residents, with the aim and vision of empowering People of Determination with complex support needs to become more independent and to live a fulfilling life. Our specialized support services are available to People of Determination with both physical and mental challenges, and they include:

• Specialized long term residential shared living arrangements for People of Determination, that are designed to meet the needs of functionally and/or cognitively impaired adult and children, who for their own safety and well-being can no longer be left at home alone. These facilities often provide protected settings and include a mixture of health and support services.
• Specialized short term respite accommodation services are quality respite centres where your loved one will be looked after in a comfortable and relaxed environment. They are the perfect home away from home for People of Determination to enjoy for a weekend or a few weeks. Respite can strengthen a family's ability to care for a loved one with a disability, and to stay together as a family.
• Day Program Centres provides programs specifically tailored for People of Determination to enjoy an inclusive and engaging environment. They include programs such as music therapy, hydrotherapy, cooking classes, sensory room, day excursions and so on.
• Our Allied Health clinicians are dedicated to providing quality care to assist People of Determination to reach their full potential. We use a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to provide holistic support. Complete Connect's Allied Health team is made up of Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists who provide a range of therapeutic, and intervention supports tailored to each client's unique needs.

About the Role An exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist working with elders and people with determination by providing effective leadership and clinical expertise to ensure consistent high standard service delivery. You will also provide a person-cantered clinical approach to support clients through a range of assessments, intervention, assistive technology prescription, ongoing capacity building therapy, home modification, report writing and case management. You will plan for our clients to maximise their level of function, capacity, social engagement, housing suitability, and ongoing contribution to their community. You will

• Manage a caseload of clients and designing therapy programs to work towards achieving participant outcomes.
• Assessing participants functional capacity including physical and psychological abilities through clinical assessment.
• Using clinical skills and professional opinion to develop participant centred goals specific to the client's circumstances.
• Accessing clinical mentors and leaders to support your growth and knowledge.
• Provide best practice evidence-based support services that increase participants life skills and independence.
• Conduct assessment and provide recommendations to successfully adapt environments for participants including the provision of assistive technology.

About you:

• Qualification in occupational Therapy and registration within the UAE membership board
• Minimum 1 year experience in delivering person-centred NDIS services;
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to build excellent relationships
• The ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• A passion for your work and a desire to make a difference
• A current driver's license and car
