Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic OCC Pricing Specialist (Based in RAK) to be based in the Ocean Freight. In this role, the successful candidate will be dedicated to service customers of Northern Emirates and create solutions that fits and develops customer needs and goes along with the organization growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Executes Product Commercial and country procurement strategy
• Owns and maintains \'Country OCC tariffs\'
• Ensures adherence to global negotiated contracts
• Adherence to department KPIs
• Drives competitive pricing & Solution Design and maximize Profitability and volume Growth
• Executes pricing campaigns (e.g. seasonal offers)
• Responds to GBT and region to region pricing requests, from break-down of pricing instructions to roll-up of pricing input and submitting
• Respond to Local RFQs (Qualification of bids received, formulation of bid strategy, gathering and checking of pricing inputs, consolidates country bid response)
• Sets up and maintains competitive local rate cards to local BC Sales
• Takes ownership of High Value Opportunities
• Assesses market demand and identify business opportunities / Solution design for OFR
• LCL/FCL services based on market Intelligence with business partners/ units
• Identify issues and escalates through proper channels when required
• Monitors carrier performance in line with SLA and balanced score cards
• Ensures compliance of activities as per local and global standards (Quality & Best Practices; HSSE) and compliance with the legal requirements
• Drive opportunities based on Trade Lane/Commodity assigned. Support and attend sales calls
• Generate Quotes using appropriate platform (e.g. Quote Shop)

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Deep knowledge of OFR forwarding business
• At least two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Freight Forwarding (one year within pricing / procurement)
• Strong project management skills and ability to cope with multiple bids in parallel
• Strong analytical skills and good communication skills
• Commercial experience/capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving mentality
• University Degree
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Freight Forwarding (one year within pricing & procurement)
