A prestigious JCIA accredited Hospital in UAE is seeking applications from dynamic and skilled Obstetrics Specialist to join their team of medical professionals.

Position Summary

The Obstetrics Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to pregnant women and ensuring safe deliveries. Obstetrics Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of obstetric care, from prenatal consultations to postpartum follow-up.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough prenatal screenings, assessments, and consultations.

Provide expert guidance and support to pregnant women throughout their pregnancies.

Monitor fetal development and maternal health to identify any potential complications.

Develop and implement personalized birth plans in coordination with patients\' preferences.

Lead and manage the delivery process, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.

Provide emergency obstetric care when necessary and make informed decisions swiftly.

Offer postpartum care, including follow-up visits and guidance on newborn care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.

Stay current with the latest advancements in obstetrics and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications:

MBBS, MD degree from a recognised Medical College/University

Board certification or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Active medical license to practice in the UAE or eligible for UAE medical license.

MOH/DOH/DHA license will be an added advantage but not mandatory

Minimum 5 years of work experience as an Obstetrics Specialist.

Proficiency in English language

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

Demonstrated expertise in managing normal and high-risk pregnancies.

Knowledge of the latest techniques and advancements in obstetric care.
