JPC - 3826 - OB - Audio Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Responsibilities:
Required Qualification: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Language Proficiency: English
Audio Operational Duties Provide guidance, support and on-the-job training to the Offshore Audio Technician to ensure smooth operations. Operate the Offshore Audio Mixer and all other necessary equipment during Offshore events to meet requirements.
Test all Offshore Audio Equipment and Systems including backups to ensure they are working properly at all times. Ensure that required equipment is available and working properly prior to broadcast. Coordinate the on-site Offshore Audio Equipment and Systems setups as per requirements to ensure compliance. Record or transmit broadcasts to ensure proper synchronization of audio outputs. Coordinate with Operations, Production and News departments to cover daily Offshore events. Plan and execute regular and on-demand maintenance on Offshore Audio Technical Equipment in coordination with relevant parties such as the Technical Support Engineer, Broadcast Support Engineer in Broadcast Technology and others; to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. To supervise modifications made to external transmission vehicles and conduct receiving tests before any vehicle returns to service in order to ensure readiness.
