Job Description
URGENT HIRING!!! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced O & M Manuals Technical Writing Engineer with a strong background in MEP to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation of MEP Operation & Maintenance Manual for projects documentation. This position will be based in UAE, KSA and other ABL projects outside the UAE to contribute to the successful execution of various projects. Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain engineering design criteria, applicable standards and specifications for the projects.
- Read and understand electrical and (or) mechanical drawings, submittals, specifications, and sequence of operations.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/ method statements for use by the Operations and Maintenance staff.
- Work with System Engineers, Project Engineers, and other department members to establish technical requirements and to determine subject material to be developed.
- Review documents and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods.
- Review project technical specifications and provide feedback to ensure that project requirements will be met.
- Attend meetings related to O & M Manuals.
- Education: Minimum Bachelors or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Specific training courses related to Document Management and MEP Testing Commissioning is an advantage.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
