Our Cafe is hiring a Part Time Nutritionist to join our staff. We're looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic professional who understands the nutritional needs of a wide range of people, from clients who want to lose weight to those who are building muscle for athletic pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports, fitness, and nutrition as well as a service-oriented attitude. He or she will establish replicable dietary standards for our members and provide one-on-one consultations on an as-needed basis.

Nutritionist responsibilities

Create meal plans for clients who want to lose weight, add muscle or achieve other nutrition-related goals

Evaluate the dietary needs of a client by assessing their health and exercise levels, sleep and food habits, etc.

Clarify information to clients and explain the effects of nutrients on the overall health condition

Offer to counsel and suggest positive alterations in nutrition to address clients' dietary restrictions

Create full and personalized nutrition plans that promote healthy lifestyles

Set clear objectives and provide support to clients to help them in their progress

Conduct scientific research to expand field-related knowledge such as the impacts of nutrients, the benefits of diets on the body's functions, etc.

Write and publish articles to educate the public

Make presentations on a variety of topics such as how nutrition affects performance in sports, schools, etc.

Nutritionist skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics preferred
• 3+ years' Experience as a professional nutritionist
• Must be a registered dietitian (RD)
• Advanced knowledge of the way nutrition and exercise complement one another during the pursuit of athletic goals
• Familiarity with Nutritionist Pro software
• In-depth knowledge of nutritional models
• Understanding of diabetic nutrition, a plus
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to partner companies when needed
• Reporting to the cafe three times a week for meeting the clients

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Part-time hours: 48 per week

Salary: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
