Job Title: Nutritionist Company: Notions (chocolate, dates, and protein snacks) Location: Dubai, UAE Summary: The Nutritionist will be responsible for auditing existing recipes, improving current recipes, creating new recipes that align with market trends and nutritional goals, and recommending unique selling points for products that are compliant with regulations and meet the expectations of health-conscious consumers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing recipes to identify areas for improvement in terms of nutritional value and market trends. Develop new recipes and make modifications to existing recipes to meet nutritional targets, improve taste and appearance, and align with market trends. Ensure that all recipes are compliant with regulations and meet the expectations of health-conscious consumers by performing nutritional analysis, labeling and ingredient analysis, and recipe analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to create new products and new recipes that meet customer needs and are in line with market trends. Research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in nutrition, including new products, ingredients, and dietary trends. Collaborate with suppliers to source new ingredients that meet the company\'s nutritional and taste requirements. Provide nutrition-related training and support to the sales and marketing team to ensure that they are equipped to effectively communicate the company\'s USPs and nutritional value to customers. Keep abreast of new regulations and industry standards and ensure that the company\'s products comply with these standards. Requirements: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Nutrition or a related field At least 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on nutrition and recipe development Strong knowledge of food science, nutrition, and dietary trends Experience with food labeling and regulatory compliance Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recipe management software.
