You will be responsible to establish, manage and monitor nutritional & diet standards
to help others make healthy food choices in their everyday life
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible to plan menus based on established guidelines
Create menus for new meal plans and customize old ones based on different needs
Guide Unit Manager / Supervisor in food selection, preparation & menu planning, based upon nutritional needs like low calorie, high protein, gluten free, etc.
Responsible to evaluate and monitor all aspects of food service operation, make recommendations that will provide nutritionally adequate, quality food.
Ensure that menus and department policies conform to nutritional standards and are as per establishment regulations and procedures. Reviews clients diet information and discuss the same with Chefs & Line Manager.
Responsible to develop menu patterns. Asses, develop, implement and evaluate nutritional-care plans, establish policies and procedures and provide guidelines for menu formulation, food preparation and service.
Ensure that the workplace satisfies HSE requirements and all staff meets the Qatar municipality health (food handlers) regulations and health requirement as per operational standards.
Responsible to inspects food and food preparation and storage areas, using thermometers and shall have up to date knowledge of Health and sanitation regulations
Responsible to answer clients, customer queries and complaints pertaining to food.
Plan, organize and conduct orientation for staff.
Conduct training for staff members on healthy eating, veganism, basic calorie counting, and common ingredients used in restaurant dishes
Share knowledge and awareness on different nutrition topics through preparing trivia facts, writing articles and recording stories and videos to be used on social medi
Get involved in company marketing campaigns for new products and services
Support the marketing team with answering client's questions on social media, or to post about specific topics or products
Welcome potential customers and encourage them to sign up for our meal plans explaining about our different options for them
Responsible to address all communications on day-to-day basis and carry out all internal & external written communication with staff / operations and with clients as per the given guidelines.
Responsible to prepare and submit day-wise weekly progress reports, on each Business operation.
To carry-out all other duties & responsibilities assigned to by your Reporting
manager in accordance with Company's policies & procedures and any applicable state and Qatar laws
