The Nutritionist provides evidence-based nutritional assessment, counseling, and diet planning to support patient health and wellness. Ensures care is aligned with hospital policies, DOH standards, and multidisciplinary team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' nutritional status and develop personalized diet plans.
Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to integrate nutritional care.
Monitor and document patient progress, updating plans as needed.
Support health promotion activities and hospital nutrition initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Licensed Nutritionist/Dietitian with DOH Abu Dhabi.
Minimum 1-3 years clinical experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of nutrition science and medical nutrition therapy.
Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
