Job Description
The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the strategic nursing leadership within the Home Health Care, ensuring the provision of clinical excellence in nursing and clinical care. Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-year experience as Registered Nurse
- Must have 2 years home care experience in UAE
- License/Registration - DOH/HAAD
- Responsible for orientation and competencies of all staff. Ensuring that the highest level of evidence-based practice is followed by all clinical staff
- Act as a \xe2\x80\x9cmentor\xe2\x80\x9d and clinical resource to all nurses.
- Ensures that facility continue to follow local and international regulations and standards
- Manage the schedule for all clinical staff, ensuring the safe allocation of the appropriately skilled staff
- Manage the logistics to ensure that the nurses and clinical team members arrive in a timely manner to their allocations also considering the financial impact of the service
- Make initial clinical assessments for all potential clients, including risk and environment assessments
- To foster an \xe2\x80\x9copen\xe2\x80\x9d environment where reporting is encouraged from all staff, ensuring a culture of \xe2\x80\x9cfair blame\xe2\x80\x9d
- Monitor all incidents involving clinical team members, patients and family members taking action when required to maintain the highest levels of safety
- Monitors and ensures that all care plans are followed by clinical staff and are communicated to the patient and family members
- Initiating preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the patient\xe2\x80\x99s care and safety
- Completes monthly clinical and documentation audits
- Counseling the patient and their family in meeting nursing and related needs as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient records
- Submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Clinical \xe2\x80\x93 Nursing administration in decision making and policy formation.
- Participating in meetings, special projects as assigned.
- Maintaining accurate time records.
- In addition to scheduled hours, participating in weekend/holiday call schedule.
- Observing attendance requirements and dress code.
- Conserving resources and adequately maintaining property, supplies and equipment.
- Adheres to all policies, including but not limited to infection control and safety, education, reporting and practice implementation
- Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
