Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to join our clinical support team. The Nursing Assistant is a vital part of our patient journey, responsible for ensuring patient comfort, maintaining a pristine clinical environment, and providing essential support to our nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is a caring professional who excels at making patients feel welcome and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and escort them to the appropriate consultation or treatment rooms. Assist patients with preparing for their examinations or procedures as needed. Take and accurately record basic patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, etc.) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Prepare, clean, and stock treatment rooms before and after each patient, ensuring all supplies are available. Ensure all medical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored according to strict hygiene protocols. Assist Registered Nurses and Doctors during consultations and minor procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Act as a chaperone for physicians during patient examinations when required. Manage the inventory of clinical supplies such as gloves, gauze, and linens, and report any shortages. Provide for the comfort of patients, offering reassurance and assistance as needed. Handle administrative tasks as assigned, such as managing laundry or transporting laboratory samples.

Qualifications and Experience:

Certification:

A professional certificate as a Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Assistant from a recognized institution is required.

Licensing/Eligibility:

A DHA (Dubai Health authority) eligibility letter or equivalent registration is highly preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Assistant in a clinic, polyclinic, or hospital setting.

BLS:

A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

A genuine passion for patient care and a deeply empathetic and caring demeanor. Strong understanding of basic patient care, hygiene, and infection control standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and organization. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy clinical environment. Fluency in English is required.
