Job Title: Nursery Teacher - Dubai South

Salary: 3,000 AED - 4,000 AED P/M

Location: Tappy Toes Nursery, Dubai South,

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of EYFS, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily circle time, story time, and appropriate learning activities based on the weekly lesson plan. Ensure child safety by completing daily classroom checklists and risk assessments, along with all required paperwork. Provide physical and emotional care to children, responding to their needs throughout the day. Maintain accurate records of each child's eating, sleeping, and learning patterns, as well as any incidents, on the nursery app. Post daily updates and weekly achievement reports on the app for parents. Prepare and submit weekly planners, ensuring planned activities are executed effectively. Conduct monthly and termly observations and prepare developmental reports for each child. Coordinate with therapists and external professionals for children requiring additional support. Supervise and guide Teaching Assistants to ensure effective classroom support and activity preparation. Order necessary classroom resources and manage inventory of activity materials. Attend all staff meetings and scheduled training sessions. Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the classroom environment. Ensure inclusive practices that reflect cultural diversity and support Identity. Participate in nursery events, celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings.
Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (minimum requirement). CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma (preferred).
Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a nursery or early childhood setting. Preferably with experience and familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic digital literacy for managing parent communication apps and digital planning tools. Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Ability to lead and guide support staff effectively.
Behavioral Competencies:

High emotional intelligence and patience. Physical stamina to work in an active environment. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude. Attention to detail in documentation and observations.
