A leading British nursery in Abu Dhabi is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a British or American curriculum environment, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
As a Nursery Teacher, your main responsibility will be to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children. You will be working closely with other nursery staff to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children to develop social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the British or American curriculum, tailored to the developmental needs of the children in your care.
Child Development:
Observe, track, and assess children's progress and development, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Classroom Management:
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. Ensure safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities, share best practices, and provide a high level of support to each child.
Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and any concerns.
Professional Development:
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up to date with the latest early childhood education trends and techniques.
Key Requirements:-
Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience working in a British nursery setting or with British or American curricula.
Experience in a similar role within the UAE is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
Cache Level 3 certification in Early Childhood Education or Montessori Diploma (Required).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of the British or American early childhood curriculum.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment for children.
Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the development and well-being of young children.
