Nursery/ Pre School Teacher

Job Description
We are looking to recruit a passionate Nursery/Pre-school Teacher. Responsibilities include:
- Motivating and stimulating the childrens learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience
- Providing care and support to children; providing them with a secure environment to learn; devising and producing visual aids and
- Supporting the development of childrens basic skills, including physical co-ordination, speech and communication
- Encouraging childrens mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing and imaginative play
- Developing childrens curiosity and knowledge
- Sharing knowledge gained with other practitioners and parents
- Observing, assessing and recording each childs progress
- Ensuring the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery/school
- Keeping up to date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice
- The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/careers and colleagues
- Commitment to equal opportunities
- The ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative
- Organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage classes well and deal with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and a good sense of humour
