Job Purpose

\xe2\x80\x8bPlan and provide medical nursing care to patients as well as prepare treatment room, patient, instruments and materials in compliance with the medical practices.

Main accountabilities & expectations * Provide medical services to patients, assess their condition and implement patient care plans.

• Measure patient\'s Blood Pressure, weight and blood sugar. As well as administer intravenous fluids and medications.
• Assist the Physicians during treatment by passing relevant instruments, equipment and materials. As well as assist with special tests and procedures and ensure proper consent has been obtained.
• Ensure that patient information and results are entered in the patient\'s records accurately.
• Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions.
• Ensure that all counters, chairs, monitors, and working spaces in the clinic are wiped and cleaned and highly disinfectant.
• Monitor the collection and disposal of sharp and amalgam waste in the lab.
• Ensure that monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly.
• Report any damages or malfunctions of equipment and phantom units in the labs to the line manager.
• Manage the inventory of medical materials and instruments, and request medical instruments and other required medical supplies and materials.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all MOHAP\'s health information privacy laws.
• Adhere to the implementation of infection control, health, and safety protocols best practices.
• Ensure that Health and Safety standards are implemented at all times, as well as respond to emergency situations.

Desirable Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor\'s degree in Nursing or relevant Nursing degree.
• Valid MOH Licence.
• 2-4 years of UAE experience in similar role preferably in higher education institutions.

Priority is to UAE Nationals.
