Nurse Manager- Emergency Department

We are sourcing for a Nursing professional who has experience managing a busy Emergency Department. This position is for a very well equipped ER of a Government Hospital in UAE.

Job Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Supervise the Nursing Team in the ER.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the ER Unit is compliant with the current laws.

\xc2\xb7 Improve the quality and efficiency of the level of care delivered to patients.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure coordination and cooperation with other medical and paramedical staff.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for commissioning of new equipment and consumables.

\xc2\xb7 Participate in the Recruitment process of Nurses in the ER.

\xc2\xb7 Identify the training needs for departmental staff, ensuring that mandatory training requirements are met and documented.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that staffs are complying with all policies that are relevant to their role and area of working.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare staff duty rotas to meet the demands of the department at all times.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all emergency staff participates in appraisal reviews as per policy.

\xc2\xb7 Investigate incidents, accidents, concerns, near-misses, non-conformities and complaints pertaining to the emergency department, ensuring that reporting form is collected within agreed deadlines and in accordance with.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that accurate records are maintained.

Requirements

3-5 years work experience in the ER

B.Sc in Adult Nursing or Masters in Healthcare administration

Western Educated professionals preferred

Proven work experience as a Nurse Manager or similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication

Salary: AED 22,000 per month + Standard UAE benefits which includes Airfare, annual leave, Medical Insurance.
