Compliance with HSE strategies and provide leadership in the implementation of HSE management systems in accordance with Company's QMS (Quality Management System).
Awareness and understanding of all Company HSE rules and Authority regulations
Implement, read and understand the site specific Project Specific HSE Plan and requirements
Set-up the first aid clinic and provision of first aid stations, as per legal requirement.
Assess casualties and find out the nature and cause of their injury / illness.
Administer first aid care in case of injury, illness or other medical emergency.
Perform basic lifesaving procedures, taking patient pulse, temperature and blood pressure.
Providing emotional support to all employees and advice on health related matters.
Maintain confidential records of all first aid, medical treatment, and other health related cases attended in the first aid clinic or first aid stations.
Keep all first aid clinic databases, registers, records and lists up to date (e.g. first aider's database, emergency response team list, emergency contact list, etc.), as per company procedures.
Regularly carry out health and hygiene inspection of site and office areas.
Regularly carry out inspection of all first aid boxes.
Conduct regular health related lectures and campaigns to project employees, including Sub-contractors.
Regularly check first aid equipment inventory level and place orders, if required.
Assess the health status by carrying out health surveillance of all employees.
Liaise with ASC Head Office Human Resources department with regards to Medical Screening of employees.
Coordinate with the hospital in cases of employee's hospitalization or follow-up if necessary.
Keep all clinic notice boards updated.
Coordinate with the Hospital and HSE department in cases of injuries and emergencies.
Refer employees to hospital if further medical care or treatment is needed.
Arrange for further medical help or other emergency services to attend, if needed.
Provide a handover when further medical help arrives.
Qualifications
Graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Nursing license registration as per the relevant Emirate.
Basic Life Support Training & Skillset.
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, superiors/managers, clients and other external contacts.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in Arabic language is an additional skill.
Must be able to work under pressure and have ability to multitask
Basic Knowledge in Computer operations specially Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc.)
2 years or more of nursing experience in construction site.
