Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role provides expert clinical care to patients presenting with urological conditions and specific

men's health issues

. This requires the RN to serve as the primary clinical assistant to the Urologist, specializing in the preparation, assistance, and post-procedure care for diagnostic and minor interventional procedures, including those related to sexual health (e.g., erectile dysfunction).

1. Clinical & Procedure Assistance (Supporting the Urologist/Andrologist).

Procedure Support: Prepare the clinical environment, sterilize and manage specialized instruments, and provide direct assistance to the Urologist during minor in-office procedures.

Diagnostic Imaging: Proficiently perform and document Ultrasound scans as directed by the physician.

Specialized treatment: including setting up and operating equipment for Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and receiving a proper training provides by the physician or the company.

Minor Procedure Care: Perform skilled tasks such as catheter insertion and management, wound care.

2. Urological and Men's health

Patient Education

Counselling Support: Maintain a confidential and nonjudgmental environment for patients discussing stigmatized health topics.

3. General Clinic Management

Pre- and Post-Care: Prepare patients for exams and procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide detailed post-procedure instructions.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR).

Collaboration: Coordinate with medical assistants, scheduling staff, and physicians to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Specialized Skills: Competency in assisting

Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and provide empathetic, non-judgmental care.
