Job Summary:
Al Amal Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Dental Nurse to join our dental team. The successful candidate will support the dentist in all clinical and administrative aspects of patient care, helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, and oral hygiene treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments, materials, and equipment according to infection control standards. Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules. Handle stock control and ensure the surgery is well equipped and organized. Adhere strictly to clinical governance and health & safety policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A caring, calm, and professional attitude.
