Job Summary:

The Nuclear Security Field Training Officer will work in a forward deployed environment in partnership with the Barakah Center Commander and the Baraka Sector training staff to deliver, administer, evaluate, and assess the overall Baraka Sector nuclear security program.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
  • Facilitate the Arabic/English field translation and delivery, administration, evaluation, and assessment of all aspects of the training program including;
  • Firearms security, handling/safety, and live fire range operations.
  • Operational shift changes, weapons/equipment issue and turn-in processes.
  • Service Force Members Post activities, conduct of duties, and turn-over procedures.
  • Effective emergency management.
  • Facilitate the Arabic/English field translation and delivery of all nuclear security training elements including; firearms, tactics, communications, first aid, classified matter protection, mechanical and explosive breaching, vehicular movement, patrol activities, security systems, and refresher requirements.
  • On-going communication of procedures and protocols.
  • Facilitate the field translation for the Conduct and documentation of Limited Scope Performance and Force-on-Force Performance tests and Alarm Response assessments.
  • Ensure effective training curriculum feedback mechanisms to identify areas which require updates, rework, or clarification;
  • Coordinate efforts with the Training staff based upon their knowledge and formal feedback from students through testing and/or review of the training curriculum and delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with training staff, management, and other security professionals to ensure the on-going evolution and effectiveness of the overall training program.
  • Maintain operational flexibility as training develops through pre-construction to the final nuclear phase.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

College or university graduate in a related field or equivalent work experience which includes five or more years of training/services experience.

Competencies:

  • Fluent Arabic and English needed.
  • Security training/services experience (Energy, Propulsion, and/or Weapons).
  • Strong working knowledge of classified programs.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
  • Able to apply good judgment and discretion regarding assigned tasks.
  • Willingly accepts direction and guidance.
  • Able to work in a foreign environment and mentor UAE military personnel.
  • Articulate and persuasive demeanor and professional appearance.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels within the organization and across diverse cultures.
  • Serve as an effective team member.
  • Effective verbal and written communication of security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
