We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Night Nurse to provide exceptional care for our newborn baby. The Night Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of our precious bundle of joy during the night hours. This position requires a compassionate individual with a strong background in newborns. What you'll do: Newborn Care: Provide round-the-clock care for our newborn baby during the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Nighttime Feeding: Prepare and assist with nighttime feeding, including bottle feeding or breastfeeding as per parents' instructions. Bathing and Personal Hygiene: Administer proper bathing techniques, diaper changes, and grooming routines to maintain the baby's cleanliness and health. Sleep Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent sleep routine for the baby, ensuring they get sufficient rest and uninterrupted sleep during the night. Monitor Health: Observe and monitor the baby's health, including temperature, breathing, and overall condition. Report any concerns or changes to the parents promptly. Soothing Techniques: Implement effective soothing techniques to calm the baby, such as swaddling, rocking, or singing lullabies. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of the baby's feeding schedule, diaper changes, sleep patterns, and any notable observations throughout the night. Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding the baby's progress, milestones, and any concerns or questions that may arise. What you'll need: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Night Nurse, specializing in newborn care. Qualifications: Certification in nursing or a related field is preferred. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of newborn care, including feeding techniques, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with the baby and parents. Patience, compassion, and attentiveness are essential. Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed. Language: Fluency in English is required.
